| RTP Net :
RTPnet, operated by a volunteer staff,
is a membership-based service dedicated to helping North Carolina
nonprofit organizations leverage Internet tools to promote and support
their missions. RTPnet hosted its sixth conference on bridging the
digital divide, May 20, at the William and Ida Friday Center for
Continuing Education in Chapel Hill. The 100 people who registered,
represented a variety of nonprofit organizations, schools, universities,
community colleges, and personal interests. The conference was cohosted
by RTPnet and Triangle United Way and sponsored by Antharia, CTCNet,
e-NC, Isoph, NetCorps, OneWhoServes, Red Hat, and SimDesk. Partners
included: CompuMentor, Duke University Certificate in Nonprofit
Management, ncyt, and Philanthropy Journal. |
